Placas de Artistas en Pasaje Saltimbanki

Nel 2004, l'artista Cristina del Castillo, nella città di Paso de los Libres (provincia di Corrientes, Argentina) ha dato origine ad una progetto che mira a rafforzare e portare la ceramica e la cultura al grande pubblico, con la creazione di un murales molto caratteristico formato da mattonelle a tema libero da artisti di tutto il mondo.
Hanno risposto più di 1500 artisti argentini e stranieri al progetto collettivo “Placas de Artistas”, in questo murales l'opera individuale diventa parte di un tutto assumendo un nuovo significato.
A questo progetto partecipa anche il gruppo di percussioni Saltimbanki, esibendosi nelle serate inaugurali.
Chi volesse può partecipare inviando una mattonella in ceramica fatta a mano, in modo che il lavoro fatto possa trovare espressione nello spazio urbano del murale. Questo murale sarà riaperto nel maggio del 2011.

From Paso de los Libres, Argentina, the plastic artist Cristina del Castillo, has started since 2004 the creation of Murals, she has invited artists from all over the world to send ceramic tiles with free subject, without discrimination at no cost. 1500 artists world wide answered to the call creating their work for this collective art project, “Placas de Artistas” “Tiles of Artists”. In this mural, the singular piece become part of the whole acquiring a completly new meaning.
The percussionist group Saltimbanki is part of the project, fusing ceramic and music.
