La ceramista Ann Linnemann ha ospitato nella sua galleria-studio una mostra creata dalla sinergia di due artisti: il fotografo Akhøj e la ceramista Ane-Katrine von Bülow.
Seguo da tempo la von Bülow, le cui opere le hanno valso il Westerwaldpreis 2004, per la unicità delle sue opere e la particolare tecnica che usa.
Le sue ciotole, in porcellana finissima, presentano un reticolato ipnotico creato usando la serigrafia, il risultato è strabiliante. In questa collaborazione, Ane Katrine trasferisce le immagini in bianco e nero di Akhøj su grandi ciotole, riuscendo con successo a combinare tecniche moderne con l'artigianato tradizionale.

The Awakening of Patterns
Ceramist Ann Linnemannhosted in her studio gallery a beautiful collaboration between the photographer Akhøj and ceramic artist Ane-Katrine von Bülow. I've been following for a while the work of Ane-Katrine, her wafer thin porcelain bowls reinvent patterns in a way I've never seen before. The use of screen printing gives a whole new dimension to this optical grid.
