Vincitrice del primo premio nella categoria "Vaso, Forma, Decoro" al European Westerwald Prize 2009, la Moorehouse produce e decora al tonio questi bellissimi recipienti millerighe.

Craft2eu is an agency and gallery for European craft design in Germany, promoting trends and designer/makers from all over Europe. This month the spotlight is on the work of welsh ceramist Sara Moorehouse. With a great interest in nature, she began using the bowls as metaphorical landscapes, using lines of colour in different thicknesses to convey physical features, evoking feelings experienced by her when studying the landscape. Her work cheerfully plays with the viewer's eyes creating illusory spaces.

First prize in the category "Vessel, Form, Decor" for the European Westerwald Prize 2009 in Germany.
