Summer at Bevere

Gallery at Bevere, è una di quelle realtà inglesi che molto invidio, uno spazio alla periferia di Worchester che rappresenta il meglio della ceramica contemporanea e dello Studio Pottery. La galleria ha dei bellissimi spazi ed è molto attiva con mostre e on line. Supportata dall'Art Council e dal Craft Council, questa realtà porta artisti internazionali in una realta più intima, fuori dai grandi centri e incoraggia l'interdiscipilinarità ospitanto insieme alla ceramica dipinti e stampe di diversi artisti.













Al momento offre 3 mostre diverse:
il Summer Show, evento annuale all'insegna del colore e della diversità
opere di Susan Nemeth, Clare Crouchman, Andrew Palin e John Pollex, insieme alle stampe di Andy Lovell, Karen Keogh, Susie Perring
vi segnalo che la scelta del critico per il miglior pezzo va a Susan Nemeth per il bellissimo Large Matisse Bowl

I love the Gallery at Bevere and I am tremendously envious of their reality. The gallery is very active, bringing tremendous artists out of the cities' circuit. The calendar is exciting hosting more than one show at the same time. The Gallery is supported by both the Art and the Craft Council.

To celebrate the launch of Joy Bosworth's new book 'Ceramic Jewellery', The Gallery at Bevere is presenting an exhibition of jewellery during June and July. This will illustrate how ceramic on its own or combined with other materials, can create unique and innovative pieces of jewellery. There is a selection of work from some of the Jewellers and Ceramists featured in the book
