NO'D: Difficile sceglierne uno ! L'Armata di terracotta o "Trophy" un'installazione di Claire Twomeys per il V&A a Londra o l'installazione "Field" di Anthony Gormleys o ...
CV: Da cosa trai ispirazione?
NO'D: L'ispirazione mi viene dalla vite e dalle sue strade e risvolti inaspettati, spero di riuscire a riportare queste senzazioni nelle mie forme. Visivamente mi ispiro alle forme della natura, la geometria e i modelli che si trovano in esse.
CV: Se potessi scegliere dove vivere/lavorare nel mondo, dove andresti?
NO'D: Se dovessi muovermi da Cork in Irlanda dove vivo al momento, mi piacerebbe vivere in Italia

Nuala O'Donovan is one of many discoveries I made through FB. Her work is delicate and strong at the same time, the beauty of the form is inspired by the intricate patterns of nature. The pieces, results of great experience and patience, are slowly constucted and often have to go though several firings. They are fascinating living creatures.Nuala kindly answers my questions:

NO'D: Difficult to pick one! The Terracotta Army (unknown artists), or Claire Twomeys 'Trophy' installation piece for the V & A in London or Anthony Gormleys installation piece 'Field' or ......
CV: Where do you get your inspiration from?
NO'D: My inspiration comes from life and its' unexpected paths and outcomes, I hope to reflect this in my forms. Visually I take my inspiration from natural forms, the geometry and patterns found in them.
CV: If you could choose where to live/work in the world, where would you go?
NO'D: If I had to move from Cork in Ireland where I live at the moment I would love to live in Italy.
